Michael von Spakovsky

President

Michael is a 17 year old senior from Blacksburg, Virginia (the greatest state in his opinion). He is the fifth of five children, and he has done MODG since kindergarten. Michael plays varsity basketball and in his free time he enjoys hiking, piano, rafting, learning more about military history, participating in youth group, and spending time with family and friends. However, one of his greatest passions is being a Knight of the Order of the Duckfather. Michael is excited for this year and hopes to serve the chapter well with the help of St. Michael the Archangel and St. Joan of Arc. He is looking forward to working with Vice-President Soejoto, and Secretary Decker for the betterment of the chapter.

Cecilia Soejoto

Vice President

Cecilia is a 17 year old senior who hails from Southern California, land of the most beautiful beaches! As the third oldest of eight kids, the duties of the oldest have fallen to her with the departure of her older siblings to college. She doesn’t mind terribly, but college is an exciting prospect. Among numerous hobbies, some of her favorites include soccer, piano, reading, writing, cleaning, organizing, and many forms of crafting.

Cecilia has many extensive and intricate plans for college and after, but God is probably laughing at all those plans right this minute. At any rate, she is ready for whatever He throws at her next. In the meantime, she is so excited to be serving as the vice-president of this chapter, and is always open to comments or ideas! She will keep each and every member in her prayers during this exciting school year!

Maya is a seventeen year old senior and is excited to serve as the NHS Secretary for this school year! She resides in Dallas, Texas where at any given time you can find her either pouring over schoolwork, at the dance studio, working at a smoothie cafe whilst juggling a million tasks at once, or spending time in fellowship and service at her parish. She’s the oldest of 3 and is embarking upon her eleventh year with MODG. Maya is an avid dancer of six years and an assistant teacher for dance classes for 3-4 year olds. She loves traveling, reading, adoration, tea, spending time with family and friends, and volunteering around town whenever someone needs an extra hand. Maya can’t wait to see what the year holds in store for the NHS and is assuredly praying for all of you.
